Today’s video shows you how to disable the automatic disk defragmentation utility that runs in the background of Windows Vista.  Microsoft opted to automatically enable this feature in Windows Vista because they decided most people didn’t know what disk defragmentation was, so they would enable it for them.  It runs on a scheduled scan every night.  There are two problems with this solution, however, the automatic windows disk defragmentation utility is outdated and there is another free alternative that does a much better job.  So this is the first step in replacing it.
