Faster Vista! [HD] Ep. 23: Shift the Search Index Indexing Service to a Secondary Hard Drive

Monday, December 28, 2009 18:35

Today’s Faster vista video shows you how to adjust the search index indexing service to a secondary hard drive.  The reason this is helpful is because your current hard drive utilizes overhead in order to consistently index the files on your system for the search indexing system.  This is a very straight forward and easy thing to do in the Windows Operating system.  Unfortunately, it is only useful to those of you who already have more than one hard drive on their computer.  Stay tuned though, there are always more videos in the pipeline you may find helpful.
