One of the great things about learning how to build websites is that it really never gets old. It always gives you a challenge because every single site is different in both design and layout. I suppose this is why web design has always appealed to me.
Granted there are some annoying aspects to building a website, mainly associated with search engine optimization and code tweaking – but generating content and modifying layouts and structure of a page, it just gets fun after you have done it for awhile.
I bring this up because the most recent videos I did on how to turn a computer into a web server and how to create a website or blog using wordpress touch on some of the amazing ways design has been simplified for people so they don't have to work so much with code.
If someone is looking for a creative outlet, website design really is a great way to go. It requires a bit of artistic perspective along with the challenge of understanding the inner mechanics of layouts. It is a well rounded field for those who are interested in both.
Of course, many people may find what I just talked about a horrific thought. They might hate layout, design and coding. Most people hate what they really haven't worked with. The reality is, it has become so easy that really everyone can do it as long as they put in a bit of time to learn it. It really doesn't require a degree or months of research to get started.
Anyways, that was what was on my mind this morning. Hopefully my videos are helping you all out. I'm hoping to push another video out in the series today talking about important plugins for Search Engine Optimization.
Keep in touch :)
