As many of you know, The PCMichiana Tech Help Show recently implemented a leveling system for members of the forum.  Here are the basic details on how it works

What are levels?

Levels are how members identify your experience within The PCMichiana Tech Help Show forum.  Users at higher levels have more experience and therefore, more reliable information to provide.

How does it work?

When you create or respond to a post in the forum you receive 1 "experience point".  These experience points accumulate as you post and eventually increase your overall ranking.  As your ranks go up, you automatically receive a new badge reflecting your rank.

Where does my badge show up?

Below your user profile avatar (picture). See image below:

Is there a max rank?

Yes there is, it is currently level 20. Don't worry, as the rank cap is reached more ranks will be implemented into the show.

Why implement a leveling system?

Firstly, leveling up and gaining experience are fun. The idea behind the experience system is to give users more exposure to a learning environment. This exposure breeds experience and experience is the best form of learning.
