Since I have been addicted to this game for the past week I really want to share it with the world. So I've devised an evil scheme to give a copy away as a giveaway.
Now I have done giveaways in the past and had very poor luck with a turnout, but I believe if I give away a game rather than cash I will get a very specific audience that will actually appeal to my target audience base better than before.
My theory is this, if I create a giveaway that targets fans of Skyrim, they are traditionally already technologically savvy and have at least enough peaked interest in technology to listen to what I have to say. My strategy will be to allow for up to 3 entries per person. Throughout the video I will inform them of one thing PCMichiana can offer them (such as free downloads) and then follow it up with the details on their first entry opportunity. I will then provide them with a second thing PCMichiana can offer them (such as free forum support) and continue with the information for their second entry opportunity.
This should force people to watch the video in it's entirety and it will make current users more educated of our free services as well as inform new people of what we have to offer – of course I will specify at the beginning of the video that they have 3 entry opportunities so they should make sure to watch the whole video to enter.
Lastly, by making the giveaway non-console specific, I can purchase the game AFTER a winner is declared and let the winner specify which system they would prefer the game on.
So not only do I get to give away a kick-a** game that I honestly think everyone should own, but I also get to inform people about all of the great free services my site has to offer, which is really one of the most difficult things to do.
