We're all geeks here, and one thing geeks take seriously these days is their "energy juice". Most of us have already established their favorite energy drinks based upon gaming and computing history.

Personally, I prefer Coffee in the mornings and if I need a pick me up in the afternoon I'll grab a small red-bull (a single can goes a long way for afternoons).

One drink I had at a LAN place was pretty awesome too, but it's pricey and not readily available in most places. It is called Bawls energy drink – and it's both delicious and packed full of energy.

Of course I think people who are sensitive to caffeine (or even those who are not) should avoid drinking these things on a regular basis. Make sure to drink plenty of water with these drinks. Remember, water is a catalyst for energy drinks and will most likely decrease the chances of crashing and fatigue.

So what is your energy drink of choice? There are many of them out there, I cannot stand the "cheaper" versions though, they are rough on my stomach. Although the Amp lemonade is pretty good for being reasonably priced…

Heh, I had to give up caffeine, it was giving me OCD really bad, couldn't concentrate on important things, only things I really wanted to do instead of work… such as learning to program Android phones :D

I haven't given up on caffeine yet. It still gives me the boost I need to make it through the day sometimes. I am personally a specialty coffee drinker. I used to work as a barista so I know what good coffee tastes like. I preferable to Caramel Latte's but I like to mix it up all the time.

As for LAN parties, Mountain Dew used to sell for a limited time a special flavor called GameFuel. That stuff was to die for, made LAN's 5x better. However, since it is no longer sold, I stick with energy drinks. AMP and Monster are okay, but I preferable to Venom energy drink. The original flavor of Venom is awesome, and the can is definitely worth the extra few cents it is over Monster.

My friends come up once every few months for a "Geekend" where we all hang out at our local LAN place and get juiced on Bawls energy drink while murdering zombies on L4D or annoying one another endlessly on Borderlands.

I could never drink venom or monster, waaay too much sugar, for some reason it didn't go over well with me.

AMP is very good, though I still think it just tastes like Mtn Dew.

Coffee is definitely great, I'm drinking it right now myself.
