ey folks I have A question

if I use wireless internet from my neighbour across the street (he knows I'm using it) can someone trace my adress? or they will see my neighbour adress or location?

Well it is wrong to use your neighbor's internet, but we've probably all done it once or twice… or for a whole year. EITHER WAY! If your neighbor was dumb enough to even leave his wireless router without a password than he's probably not smart enough to even know you're using the network. The internet traffic and all IP addresses going through there are usually monitored by the ISP though. Or maybe that's just Road Runner… Eh, I'm too paranoid.

Anyways, sorry for the like 2 month late response.

I use my neighbor's internet for whole year! Then my mom got comcast.

IT's not uncommon for people to use other people's internet.  Odds are if you asked them they'd be more than happy to let you use it for free anyways.

They could easily see your network address if they accessed their router, but who does that these days?  Certainly not anyone who doesn't have a security key on their wireless lol.
