We've completed the Hello World! main series, now we will discuss various stand alone speed up tips. This one goes over the three fastest (but not most popular) browsers available on the web including Safari, Minefield and Chrome.
Important Points to Take From This Lesson:
- Faster Browsers Allow you to Surf The Web Faster
- Internet Explorer is the Most Insecure Because it is the Most Popular
- Internet Explorer will still be needed for some sites
- Safari, as of this post, is the fastest browser on the web
- Minefield is the second fastest browser on the web

I want to safely browse the internet, more than having the fastest browser -
Only use IE9 for downloads/email, and FF for the internet with some good add – ons…
Which browser do you prefer?

I mainly use Google Chrome. It is simple and fast which is what I like in normal everyday browsing. For security, I use Firefox with a few nice add-ons to keep it secure.

I use Chrome, primarily, performance wise it is outstanding. There are some compatibility issues with certain sites, not many, but then I fall back to Firefox. I only use Internet Explorer when Microsoft makes me.

I am particularly fond of Chrome for two particular reasons.
1. The one reason it is fast is it can utilize multiple core processors by creating an individual process for each tab and extension. Utilizing multiple cores is something more programs/applications should learn how to do.
2. Clean, easy to use interface that doesn't necessarily distract. It is what web browsers should have been a few years ago.
