I was/am interested in creating a dual boot PC and stumbled onto your help tips. The proceedure seems easy enough but the one tool needed is not free to use. Maybe it was at one time but now is to costly to preform the partitioning setup. I'm talking about the Easeus software. Any other tools, correction, free tools that will do this for me?

Actually, Easeus Home Edition is still free for personal use. You can get it through my website at the following link:

I did the program download and was able to open it for use, however, in your instructions from series 3, after you do the math for your patition size you click OK then wait, next click on apply. There's where the problem started. To apply I get directed to purchase Easeus Partition Master. It won't let me complete the function.

Oops! I must have downloaded the wrong version of Easeus Partition Master. I got another version and it's working. So far so good. I'll keep going now with the process of creating a dual boot system and I'll report back how it goes. Unless I run into more problems. Thankx Mate.

Well, I'm at a road block again. I can't get the img. file to burn to the DVD. Everything works good up to that point. The programs work just like you said but I can't get the image on a disc and boot the computer into the phase of this task. One of the boot selections in Bootus seems to be directing the path path to a floppy drive A. I don't know if that's a problem or not.

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I was unavailable during the holiday.
Others seems to have the same issue with the Active@ ISO burning utility.
Try using this one and let me know how it goes:

I may add that utility to my freeware list if it works out. It looks like it supports a wide array of image files.

I gave up on trying the burn an ISO Image and aquired a Floppy as you strongly suggested. That worked very easily and was more in line with your videos instructions. I have been able to get XP 32bit OS and XP 64bit OS installed on a 500GB HD with 300GB shared, and working fine. exactly what I tried to accomplish 2 years ago when I first built this computer using Ubuntu or whatever that program was. That was a nightmare and I gave up. I made it to your last step where you discribe how to finish up and get rid of the Floppy disk but I'm having trouble. It won't write to the MBR because of an error that pops up about Sectors. Have you seem this and do you know of a work around. I can try to take a screenshot of the error message if you remind me how thats done. I think I hit PrintScrn and somehow fetch that from Notepad??? Thanks for your help.
