Hello Craig sir once again :D and all my mates out there

I wanted to ask u all ur pc security combinations like which antivirus and firewall u use and others to protect your pc and suggest me also some Wink

Currently i'm my pc is being protected by avast free 6.0.1125 + malwarebytes pro 1.51.0so is this enough for my pc's security

And craig sir in a video of your pcmichiana faster 7 series u suggested us to use avast free but u were also using eset smart security i guess coz i saw that blocking notice which it gave so r u using both of them still and do they interfere with each other coz eset smart security has its own antivirus same as nod 32

Confused

Four freeware tools get all the jobs done for me:

1. Malwarebytes Antimalware

2. Avast! Free Antivirus

3. Glary Utilities

4. Auslogics Disk Defrag

I don't use a software firewall, I rely on the standard windows firewall and my routers hardware firewall.

I would recommend ESET over Avast! If you are willing to pay for an Antivirus. NOD32 it still the most resource efficient, protective antivirus I have worked with over the years.

sorry sir but sir avast free 6 has more features than eset nod 32 4.2 currently like the auto-sandbox, and all those shields + website blocking and webrep all these features in a free antivirus i think only avast is such antivirus which offers all these in its free edition and also if another version comes out of avast den we can install it directly from avast gui, no need of uninstalling and downloading the setup of newer version and then again install. So i'm definitely going with avast free y waste money :P

thnxxx very much for ur guidance sir

ur last comment please :)

There is a complete security suite available from ESET as well if you want the extra real time scanning capabilities. The biggest problem with Avast is performance. ESET majorly outperforms Avast in just about every area when it comes to resource usage.

It really comes down to preference. Of course Avast is an extremely powerful suite and works for most people, but I always prefer resources efficiency over features any day.

No sense in spending the money if you feel you are adequately protected with Avast :) That is why it is the one I recommend first, for a corporate environment ESET typically offers equivalent protection with minimal resource usage across multiple systems. :)
