For those of you who are following the speed tip series, we are talking today about the Windows XP alerter service. Although this service will be non-essential for most of you – there are some of you who should know exactly what it is this service does so as not to disable it if you need it. Also, your administrator might not be too happy with you if you disable it if they use it. You’ll have to watch the video to learn more.
