Quite often there are many YouTubers who make professional videos and never quite get the publicity they need. The gentleman over at TechHelpVideos (THVHD) is one such individual. He approached me earlier this week on the possibility of doing collaboration videos, and I opted to give it a shot.

In this video, TechHelpVideos will show you how to disable the YouTube “pre-roll” advertisements that show up before a YouTube video plays. Of course these advertisements are extremely annoying, so I doubt many of you will not like this video.

Advertising on YouTube has slowly become more and more intrusive over the past five years – these pre-rolls are actually a bit concerning to me. I do believe once advertisements become more trouble than they are worth, people will start to look elsewhere for their entertainment. I hope that Google keeps this in mind as they implement more and more intrusive advertising.

But I digress… on with the show!
