Symantec and McAfee are not only antivirus solutions you have to pay for, but they often don’t offer as good of protection as their free alternatives. In today’s video we make sure you have no viruses installed on your computer before we move forward. The three primary culprits for computer slowdown are viruses, spyware and applications running in the background. The first few videos in this series will discuss addressing these issues with antivirus, antispyware and startup configurations. We will then move forward with tweaking your Windows operating system to gain as much potential speed out of it as you can. Bare with me on the audio glitches, I’m still working out the new capturing software.

I, too, bought a couple of Amazon gift cards for Christmas gifts and the recipients were thrilled. The difference was that i bought them from a gift card kiosk at a local grocery store. The store personnel activated them in front of me so there were no glitches or shipping delays/charges. I just lucked out – it never would have occurred to me to check reviews on gift cards from Amazon. I just stopped to look at the gift card display in the store and was pleasantly surprised to find Amazon cards as one of the choices. It’s ironic that the whole joy of the Amazon shipping experience for me is the online ease and fast, efficient delivery and that’s the very thing that caused so much frustration for so many people this holiday. Now, I’m inclined to wonder about some of their electronic systems. I hope they work out their problems..
Awesome video! I love that latest one. Can’t wait to spread the word of such a pro skillage website out there (www.pcmichiana.com/www.youtube.com/user/pcmichiana)
The articles here are great. Thanks for having them. I get so much out of reading other sites about stopping viruses! It’s such an ongoing battle. I don’t comment on many sites but had to on yours. I don’t have time to read everything right now, I found this site when looking for something else on Bing, but I’ve bookmarked your homepage and will check back soon to see the latest updates. The internet can be so helpful. Please take a look at my site at http://www.SwatSpam.com and let me know what you think of it. Thanks again – great site!
The Dell Studio 1747 laptop is also a good laptop. It has a Intel i7 processor with 4 GB of ram installed. It also comes with a 250 GB hard drive at 7200 rpm and Windows 7. But the downside is that it has a 17.4” screen (hard to carry around). :)
Mac claims that it’s hardware AND software are better than windows PC’s. What a lie! Mac is so old and it’s feeble-minded, thick, and dumb. They don’t even know how to use their money properly! Go PC’s!
PC’s are better than Mac’s. Mac’s are slow and hard to work with. PC’s are faster and easy to work with. : D PC’s are smart. Mac’s are dumb (Mac spends way to much money on advertising).
Go Windows 7 Ultimate and PC’s!!!!!!
the upcoming windows vista speed up series is completely useless to me. : (
I’m going to get windows 7 in about 2 months! Yahh!
Windows 7 is the best operating system ever made in the history of human king because it makes life easier, and it is safer.
The installation video of Spybot specifically tells you not to install the teatimer because it is by far the most irritating and intrusive piece of software out there
– you just want to install the Spybot S&D Main Scanner during installation.
Hey. The teatimer.exe eats up 100mb of ram, that’s what my task manager says. I thought this was supposed to speed up my computer?
