Today’s video will show you how to properly run the McAfee Rootkit Detective tool. This Rootkit Detective tool was created by McAfee to scan your system processes and generate a log file that can be sent to their offices for analysis. McAfee knows that deep infections such as rootkits can cause severe damage to a system and can’t always be removed easily. The reason we waited this long to use the Rootkit Detective tool is because we have tried 6 other scanners so far on your machine and haven’t had any luck removing those viruses – so now it is time to consult some experts on the subject, or at least notify them, and while we wait, run a few more tools to see if we can’t remove the rootkit ourselves.
