This video will show you how to partition your hard drive to share between the multiple operating systems you will be installing on your computer. This is a very easy thing to do if you have already gone through the first few episodes of the dual boot series. Running multiple operating systems is nice, but there is no need to store the same data on both operating systems when they can just as easily be shared between the two on a completely separate drive. There are other benefits to this as well, such as having a partition “secure” from operating system corruption – whereas if you ever have to re-install your operating system (either of them) your data will be unaffected by the format necessary to re-install. Pretty neat trick right?
