Thank you for stopping by. Today’s video discusses an issue regarding all windows operating systems. As some of you may have found out, when you install more than 4 gigabytes of memory Windows XP, Vista and 7 may not detect all of the memory. There is actually a very good reason for this, but it is unfortunate. 32-bit version of the windows operating systems only support up to 4 gigabytes of memory, this includes your graphics card memory addressing as well. So what happens is your computer cannot address all of the memory you’ve installed. If you install more than 4 gigabytes of memory on a 32-bit operating system you will not be able to use it all. If you want more than 4 gigabytes of memory, you will need to install a 64-bit operating system.
